Heat Embossing with Cricut & Watercoloring

Updated: Aug 31, 2021

Happy Monday! Hope your week has started off great! I will be live tomorrow at 12pm ET to show you how to Heat Emboss using your Cricut and also doing some watercoloring! NEW VIDEO LINK! Watch here -

You may recognize this design....We designed this together during last Saturday's Pinterest Inspired class! If you missed the class, here's the link -

I changed the file a bit after I did mine to cut out an offset of the butterfly instead of a square. You can make yours smaller if you'd like. I used a 1.0 Cricut Gel pen and super fine black embossing powder and heat set it with heat gun. Links are below.

Use an Embossing Buddy before you put it in the Cricut to draw. You need to put the powder on the image as soon as its done. Remove from the mat and sprinkle the powder on so do not cut before you have the powder if you choose to used heat embossing. I'll show everything in the video. PROJECT FILE: This project can be found here on on the Supporter Projects tab under the Type: Misc. and the Themes: New, Butterfly, and Happy/Encourage.
